I recommend ditching the U3 software and loading up some portableapps.org goodness.
I completely agree. I hate the U3 software. I didn’t know about portableapps.org though. I’ll check it out!
Right on with the U3 — terrible. Luckily, I use Linux and can’t use the U3. But, anyway, those sticks are tough sumbitches. Mine have gone through a washer, hung in wet jeans — and still came out with data intact:)
There are some really nice portableapps, I use one memstick I have for diagnostic tools and spam.virus scanning/removal.
